Doing good Morris. Just had a bunch of presents delivered to the office from our IT department. 14 presents to be exact. How are you doing?

Nothing right now Morris. We are getting new computers for the office though. So that is exciting.

When one has had the same computers for at least 5 years and they are overworked due to the software we run new computers are very exciting.

I see your point when you put it that way Shaun. Were the old computers getting pretty slow?

Yeah they are. We run alot of software on them and we pull alot of network bandwidth. Combined with the video from alot of CCTV it slows stuff down really quickly. Our IT department has flat out told us we are the largest network user on campus. We have slowed the university servers down a few times.

No they don't Morris. But we have higher end computers to begin with. But over time we have added more and more to certain programs and more programs that eat away at how quick they are. I still have 3 more computers that will need to be replaced in the next couple of years that are really expensive. in the ballpark of 15-20 thousand dollars for each computer.

I think we willprobably keep a few of the old ones as backups in case we have a computer fail. We have been testing at least one of the new ones for about 2 months now to make sure the programs we use would be stable on it.
