Hello John, Perry, Steve and Ian.
I like how your 53 grille looks with the rings looks John, how many hrs did it take to rework the grill? Thanks for that picture, I didn`t realise 48 to 55 headlight door rings were the same.
-2 here Perry so it's chilly on bare hands too.
Hello Ian, dogs are truly awesome.....especially when they're sleeping.
Now that I'm not messing with frozen stuff its a lot easier on the fingertips, about to put up the first bird house and will secure everything. The hooking up will be tomorrow or the next day after the hard physical work is done, I'll be in a clearer frame of mind for that part of the job. Lol
If I didn't have to do the rust repair on the grille I'm guess about 4 hours to convert it to the 56 rings Morris
Wow, that`s a bit of working over metal. I wouldn't even try, I never did get the hang of stretching, shaping and shrinking metal.
Those are pretty healthy looking pups.
It sounds like you`re getting closer on your security cameras Perry.
There is no stretching, shrinking or shaping involved on that modification Morris, just some measuring cutting and welding some easy bent tabs to bolt the buckets to...
Your still my hero....
I have problems with making patches the exact size, I usually end up with gaps that are a bit too big then I get worried about warpage so I don't always get good penetration.
