I hear you,a friend found his dad`s old 36 coupe and while I have no idea what it cost, he wouldn't say, I`m sure it was more than a small Chinese fortune!
Mustang ll, 302, C4
I don't really like Mustangs and hate seeing them at car shows...
How`s everyone's weekend going? The fog is still here
Both the 41 ****** coupe and the 40 Ford coupe are pretty neat cars. A neighbour has a pair of unrestored 40 Ford coupes that he`ll likely never part with. I`m pretty sure an old Ferrari wouldn't be in my budget.
Hello Shaun, is all quiet on campus today?
I know what you mean John, for awhile Mustangs kind of took over car shows but I love driving mine. My favorite Bird is a 57, a 56 is close but not quite the same. Weird that it has AC, power brakes but not power steering.I called the guy and will likely go to see it next week if the weather cooperates. He`s definitely very firm on the price.
There's a nice 55 Mercury 4 door for sale here locally Steve. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1388631825&requestSource=b

I can relate to John's feelings about the Mustang, something like all the Camaros out there, the newer generation is cool but I like the pre 71 stangs.
Its snowing a bit today and tomorrow but won't be to bad
Now that the cats are leaving me alone I'm back to my coffee and trolling, lol. There's half a dozen Doves and a couple of Blue Jays at the feeder right now so the cats are occupied. Might take a hike to the parts store for a liter of oil and may do some cleaning in the shop today
How big is the crowd for those 2 basketball games? With a few other events that must keep your crew hopping Shaun.
We had a couple of woodpeckers drop by for lunch at our feeder this morning, my cats can't get to the high up suet feeder.
I never buy just one liter of oil, I get the bigger jugs when on sale.
Not too bad. Rain is keeping some away today. But enough to fill up the parking lots. We also have a wedding on campus ( There is a rather nice looking chapel on campus. Used a fair bit since we are a Jesuit university.) And some big party after my day is over.

I get tired of all the old pony cars at the show, that and tuners. I don't like the new Camaros either. Power train is a completely different story though..
That must be some big campus to hold weddings on it. That party may still be going on when you get back to work tomorrow morning.
Tuners and boom box cars definitely suck
