These are 32 watt 4 foot T8s that I picked up a few years ago, cheap but better than whats up there now, the ballast in 2 that I took down were starting to leak. If you leave a buggered ballast with power going through it they can melt and short out, possibly starting a fire. These old cans look like they're burned a bit or well over heated. The new LEDs are a bit pricey for me right now but I'll pick up a couple if they go on sale and replace these ones as I can afford it.
To bad there wasn't a cheap way of sending you the ballasts I removed from my fixtures when I converted to LED's. I saved them but have no use for them and about to toss them in the trash, I also gave away all the T-8 bulbs to a friend to use in his shop..
We're going to see double digits today but its also really windy today so that should take care of most of the snow out here.
These lights should work for now and I'll strip out the ballasts from the old cans and put them into storage in case they're ever needed again.. Off to the shop for a few hours and hopefully this wind doesn't make to much of a mess.
I was just playing in the shop and will be back out there again soon
Don`t be late for supper John, I was once or twice and it wasn`t good.

The savings aren`t a lot unless you have a lot of lights like I do and spend a lot of time in your shop which I usually don`t.

It`s been raining here all day long since mid morning, it`s a light rain but now water is laying in a lot of places. Construction on the two over passes has stopped so I`m not sure if they`ll get it done before winter.
There's been rain off and on all day and now it's a freezing rain, winds have been a bit much. I'll be running a lot of lights but it'll be 1 bay at a time so it may not be to bad, will check my consumption against last year's bills. I'll keep my eyes open for good deals on lights, may go the Ebay route and buy some out of China if its the right brand of manufacturer.
Never late for a meal Morris, how I stay so slim...lol
Me too John.

Let me know what you find, I`m sure it`ll be cheaper than the stores here.
Happy Saturday Mornin'all. Snow, and wind this morning. Kalan's 2nd game last night. He scored another beauty, and won 4-1. We didn't get home till 11pm. Too late for me. Dawn's up in Cambridge Bay for work till Wednesday, so I'm the Taxi, Head bottle washer, and Cook, till she get's back. Have a great day guy's.
