Hello John.
A light shower here and more likely over night so that means no harvesting will be done tomorrow. The rest of this week doesn`t look good either.
It is heading towards the east coast of the us for sure. Will be a very strong Category 4 almost Category 5 storm. They think once it comes on shore it will stall over the Carolina's. We will see several inches of rain, high winds, and flooding here. Some areas that will be impacted by it could see rainfall totals over 30 inches.
Flooding is a concern in my area Morris. But my house is on a hill where as the other side of the street is not. My street can flood and has on occasion. Mainly when we get alot of heavy rain in a short amount of time. There are a few roads near me that flood pretty quickly especially in heavy rain. If I have to I can park 2 vehicles in my yard if I do it right and the third one can be parked on the side street which is a hill. Biggest worry is the winds in my area since the ground is still very saturated.
I can`t even imagine all that, I live on high ground and it`s sandy. The only flooding in this area is from very abnormal snow fall which we seldom see. Drought is often a main concern.
Good afternoon, think I'm inside for the rest of the day. Done all I can do on the panel for now until it goes in for the alignment. Washing it on the first decent
They just updated some of the local rainfall totals that some areas could see. Upwards of 46.5 inches of rain now. Water is just a way of life in my area. We have some many places that have poor drainage it isnt funny.
