Its the neighborhood cleanup and I'm in with the truck but there is a problem in my old neighborhood that needs some looking into. Its a case of when this cat is away the rats go astray, so it's time to get involved in it again.
Today is a bit of a warm one but that's just okay with me. Going to find out soon how well the new gates work will start to put on the first of the neighborhood cleanup loads, that way my little part of the planet will look better.
Have a good day, keep the sunny side up and the frosty side down.
Hello everyone, I`m done work for at least this week.
I`m glad that I live out of town, it`s pretty quiet here.
They use speed cameras in school and work zones plus regular radar here too Shaun, the last two day over 600 speeders have been caught in school zones alone.
There's a junior high school down the road from me on 44th and there's never been a school zone or any speed reduction signage but most people slow down anyway. I bugged CBC's "what's up with that " question line until I got an answer as to why there's no signage. Apparently due to there being no playground equipment it can't be classified as a play zone, hence no signage. Being a ******* I asked about the soccer field and basketball area and I was told to look again as the soccer pitch has no goals and the basketball hoops and nets were taken down. Oh well, I guess its a target zone now.
When a tow truck has it`s flashing lights on traffic is supposed to slow to 60 kmh, same as for other emergency vehicles.
Looks like a nice neighbourhood Perry.
How did your day go John?
Here the tow companies send a safety vehicle with the tow truck on any hook up that happens on any road with a speed of 80k or more.
This is a pretty good area but there's an ill wind coming into the old neighborhood and it needs to be looked into before it creeps up to this area. We're getting our cameras up and running and making sure that it's public knowledge so as to stop the crime that may be headed this way. A properly installed system protects 3 houses and gives up to 50 meters of identifiable video, break ins are going to stop before they get out of hand. Self policing is better than city policing.
