Got my shelf fabbed up and stained and will clear coat it in a couple of hours and assemble it tomorrow night. I'm hoping that I can get one of these 50" + TVs working and put it up there, no more squinting.
Guy down the alley is building a shed, it's a 10 x 10 and has been 2 years in the making. last year he bought a 30" door, last week he tried to put it in and realized that the hole was 30" before installing the door casing, he's lost receipt. Running the tvs to my place I see a new 30" door blank, ask Tom about it and he points at 2 year shed build and says it's his. I pick up said door to take home at end of tv runs and run into shed builder and he tells me the story. He's pissed because he has to spend $35 on a 28" door blank. I take home door, cut it to 28" and now I can toss out the ugly brown 28" door on my storage room under the stairs and now all my doors match. WOW are these doors ever crappily made, 1" of wood on the long edges and short with a 5" particle board at the doorknob height and compressed hard board skins.
Happy Sunday guys, hope you`re all having a good one. Fords are are lagging behind a bit but still flying in today`s NASCAR race.
I have a 34'' monitor for my desk top and only 42'' for a TV.
Nice that you could make use of that door, Perry, not often that happens with the way doors are made these days.

How`s the weather in Man, Ont?
Cold and windy here today but, we went to a gun show in Moose Jaw and left the kids at home. Ran into a lot of people we know and had a lot of fun catching up with some old friends.
