The shed is going under a 70+ year old pine tree, there's hardly any rain or snow that gets under this tree, it's so old it takes city permission to cut it down as its protected. All 3 trees on my yard are classified as heritage trees. This shed is going to be about 6' x 18' and I might use a set of sliding patio doors for the roof as it's that well protected, am going to use fence panel boards on the outside so that it blends in with the fence. This shed will be one of the easiest ones that I've built, will post some pics as it gets done and you'll have a good laugh.
Good morning everyone, cooled off nice last night, they say it's going to be smokey again today but so far it doesn't seem that bad so have the windows open and cooling off the place..
Hello John, Steve, Grant, Perry, Shaun and all who lurk here.
Not quite as smoky here but I can still smell it. Air quality advisory are still being issued.
Afternoon everyone, they are saying on the radio the smoke we are encountering is from the BC fires. I got the epoxy primer sprayed on my parts this morning and will likely get the top coat sprayed this afternoon...
Its a smokey day out here, was so dark this morning that it looked like it was going to rain but the smell was really bad. Have air and midday health advisories, I get email alerts on my phone and have had one every morning for at least the last 10 days.
Off to puttering in the backyard and hope to have the skids in place by the end of the day so that I can grab some plywood from down the alley.
I managed to get done what had to get done and will have time tomorrow for this auction program change and then back to work by 2. Really need to get my yard work done in the next 10 days so that I'm ready to make some money in September.
Its so dry around the tree that I'm going to use fence panel boards for the exterior and it'll look like it's part of the fence. Its only going to be 6 ft high and will have an almost flat roofline.

Those pallets would rot fairly quick where I am with all the moisture in the ground. In my tent storage I put down a heavy vapour barrier..
