Yep, I posted some stuff on that when the Dear Leader Gov posted her budget a month or so ago. Totally negated and defeats the entire purpose behind why we voted for that Oregon Constitutional amendment. The war on Vets continues! Now try and convince us how supportive she is.

Morning Pat, and those that follow. 33 and surprise RAINING, at the compound.
Unfortunately we have been ruled by the libs for over 30 year in this state. We have the 10 highest taxes in the nation and education is ranked as one the 10 worse states every ranking. Not to mention how business unfriendly the state is. Don't get me started...
Morning Andy. Yeah, I've heard about that up there. Ridiculous how one part of the state can control everyone else. I saw a map somewhere that someone had suggested, combining eastern Washington, Oregon, and Idaho into one state, and letting western Washington and Oregon become another. They could liberal themselves right into the ground.
Good morning Oregon FTE and Visitors. Hello Andy, Pat and those to follow.
Jim I remember your post about the governor' s budget.
Pat, the Oregon Governor is the the first openly by sexual Governor to be elected to office in the US, and yes she is from Portland.
I wouldn't say it's all of western Oregon that's the problem. It's several big cities like the Portland metro area, Eugene, and even Bend on the east side to some extent. Most of the smaller towns are pretty conservative but don't have the population to be heard.
Morning Evan. Yeah, I get that, most rural areas are conservative. All I have to do is look at crime rates, and the city budget to see how that liberal agenda is working for them.

Exactly. Linn County is a solid Red County, one of the best voting records in Oregon. Bend has turned 50% lib, thanks to the amount of Cali's and other Libs that move there. There's nothing more detrimental to our state than Metro PDX. I hope the great folks of Idaho keep it up, I may soon join them.
Ive been thinking that for awhile, Mike. If I didn't love the coast and forests here so much (and if my wife didn't hate snow so much) I'd be living in Idaho already.

I hear ya, and reasons like that keep us here, fighting the good fight.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 34, wet, rain, rain and more rain. I put the buoy's out in the front and back yards this morning. One has a sign saying, "SLOW NO WAKE ZONE". The other says, "CAUTION, NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY!". And did I mention its still raining?

28 Counties voted for the "other" person running for Governor. Just 8 counties (she picked up the California Vintners in Hood River) voted for that imitation of a human being, anti-Vet, gun hating, give our state to the foreigners, person who now holds down the office.

Great minds think alike! Wife says the boat won't float so very well on the Lemhi River and she hates snow with a passion!

Yep those are some of the reasons to stay in the trenches. Along with a 300 acre farm in a family trust.
But, we probably have more vested in the Idaho idea than most...
My wife IS from Eastern Idaho (Leadore) and I've spent a lot of time there and in Montana scouting trails in my earlier days for the National Appaloosa Horse Club...
