For the Oregon folks, SB 719, the reincarnated Gun Confiscation Bill (https://olis.leg.state.or.us/liz/201...Overview/SB719 ), has been assigned by Tina Kotek, anti gun Or. House Speaker to the House Rules Committee as of late yesterday afternoon instead of the House Judicial Committee, which would have been the logical assignment. Rules is Chaired by one of the most anti gun people, Jennifer Williamson, in Salem.
Think about it and send an email to your rep voicing an opinion.

Got the lawn mowed today. Took most of the day to do what should have only taken an hour or so considering how tall the grass had gotten. Done just in the nick of time. Storm clouds have moved in and winds up to 20 mph so far. Going to be a fun next few days. Just a couple of days of sunshine to tease us with and then.............

Morning all. Even, is that going to the coast? I know out this direction Weyerhaeuser has all the land gated and locked up. We got kicked off some a few weeks back just hiking and threatened with prosecution if we didn't leave.

Good morning everyone. I'm a bit sore today.
This was at Shotgun Creek south of Brownsville. It's a mix of BLM and Weyerhaeuser, but there is 35 miles of managed OHV trails on the BLM sections, and at least that much unofficial trail all over the place there.
There are some nice hiking trails there you should check out. One is on a ridge top through some meadows with amazing wildflowers this time of year.

Dangit! Where'd the time go? I could swear it was Monday a minute ago!
Man it felt chilly today!
Almost fired up the heat in the shop. Rebuilding a deck and doing a major service to a customer's John Deere X320 mower. Never seen a deck so clogged up before. Really surprised me seeing how clean it was on the outside.
Really itching to get to work on my truck. I've been out a truck since I traded off mine and the wife's old car for an Escape a while back.
