I pulled the unit over the weekend. Using a multi-meter, I could not find a wire that corresponded to the accessory delay rely. Stumped.
I did the same thing last night and came up with the same results as you. I was actually able to get to the harness by removing the bag hook.
Only one wire live in the dash harness for the radio while the power windows are still active after turning off the ignition.
I looked at the old radio and it has several additional pins that the metra harness is missing. I'm wondering if the accessory delay somehow provides a ground through one of the other pins that allows the radio to stay powered with the constant 12V feed. Just a guess, but I am stumped at this point as well. Without a pinout for that plug or a schematic I got no idea.
