They have to take the whole headliner down to fasten inside the truck. I almost did this for the sake of smoked cab lights, but the aftermarket Recons were to big and stuck out to much. Not as slick as the stock ones. You can get recon smoked lenses apparently for the stock lights. Now that I look at it I am glad I didn't do the lights but I may still change my mind.

Has anyone done this yet? I have a 2017 Lariat Crew Diesel with Moonroof and want to add the OEM lights. If someone has done, please share what parts were needed, details and photos if possible

I added them to my 08' I think it was the recon kit and it was fairly simple about 1 1/2 to 2 hr project
