I am wanting to install some cab lights on my F250. Does anyone have advice on where to get and how hard it is to do myself?
Is there a factory harness ready to plug in that is available?
About how much should this cost me?
Is there a template for the proper position when drilling the holes?
Any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance.
Cab lights you can get about any automotive parts store. As far as a templet, or a wired harness it's starting to sound like a dealer thing. I've installed some myself. Have removed the headliner for the wireing, and just alot of careful measuring and placeing for the lights to be wher you want them.

How does the headliner come down without tearing the fabric. I want the lights, but have been afraid of ruining my interior. I don't want the fabric hanging down just to have cool lights.
The headliner comes down pretty easy once you take off all the plastic pieces that help hold it up there. The liner itself is a stiff, molded liner with the fabric attached, so make sure you don't bend it hard and you shouldn't have any creases or fabric hanging down when you're done.
Had mine done at the dealer for about 300 parts & labor. When I started meandering down the path of how many ways I could screw it up - leaks, off center, mess up headliner, etc. - Ford got my money.
There are alot of postings on this. The lights can be purchased at aftermarket shops/online and or the dealers. You can also get the wiring harness at the dealer or you can just use a single wire and splice each light into it. The headliner comes right off because it's held up with all of the handle and plastic push in screws. If you have a crew cab, the headliner won't come completely oout of the cab. Rather you can just let it sit lowered and still do the wiring. With the SuperCab and the doors opened you can swivel it out. The center overhead console comes out with a straight (but scary) downwards pull. I believe the link netfly gave you should have the template info. Make sure you measure twice (or tree times) and drill once.
