Can anyone give me a rough measurement for the sun visor 48-58 F1; I have two in the garage which I assumed were from my truck but they are too long and must be from my 1990 donor. The mounting holes seem to line up so I was thinking of shortening them and then upholstery. I measured 15 1/2" to clear mirror.
the driver side wasn't a problem, but the passenger side kinda is. I have the original small mirror in mine and I have to move it and re-adjust it whenever the wife wants put her side down. Mine originally only had one, but I wanted it to match on the inside.

I also have the stock mirror and visors. The reason that we have problems with the passenger side interferring with the mirror is that Henry located the mirror off center toward the passengers side (at least on my truck).
I have to wonder if on an original 48-52 with both visors if the original passenger side visor was a little shorter. The aftermarket supplied visors which I have are identical in length. In one of today's trucks (with the current astronomical prices-imho) there would be left and right visors if needed, however, our trucks were clearly no frills work trucks.
Bill, when I did the measuring it was on the passenger side, so I will measure twice and cut once ! Will make time for it tomorrow, after Remembrance Day services.
