Rearview mirror questions
A model# GNTX-187 rearview came with the truck (liquid all distorted inside), im assuming that's not stock as it has more than the 3 pins that the electrical connector has. I purchased a new GNTX-187 mirror without really looking into it, can this work if I plug it into the first three pins on the back of the mirror? Or what is the model# of the stock 3 pin rearview mirror and any interchangeable rearview mirrors I can use? Also, what is the safest way to remove the rearview mirror? TY!

New Gentex GNTX 187 015306 Ford GM Interior Rear View Mirror Auto Dim RVM218 | eBay
I have the mirror in this link above. I'm wondering if I can plug in the excursion 3 wire harness that comes down the middle of the windshield, to 3 of the prongs on the back of the gntx-187 mirror. Without cutting or splicing. Or what is the correct stock auto dim rear view mirror that comes in excursions?

The one you can get from any Expedition in a salvage yard. You bought a generic Ford/GM mirror.

coming up with the same part number, GNTX-187 for the Expedition.. so I guess this mirror can work...
