What I was figuring that the crown vic tank would fit behind the seat . Its orientation is similar to the way they fit behind the seat.

Well Santa sent a few more needed items in a big snow white covered van.
But once, I rushed to open with glee, my soon joys turned to clowns frown.

It appear that one of Santa's elf's must have gotten into the spiked eggnog could not see very well. By that being said sent the wrong size ss braided fuel line.

Fuel line size an(8) can't be used as an(6) so it must have been the little xxxelf name Lazy filled my order.
So got a flip it back to Summit.

Also waiting on the holly pump to show up with a 30 amp pump relay setup.
And this fuel line to be turned around should be the last of the parts wait.

Parts Update.
It must be the Monday hangovers or new personal who have been filling my online orders. Yesterday Santa made a showing in brown slay. He's at my door with a big box 30"x14" x8" and, I asked Santa you sure that's for me, Yep!

So I am opening carefully as I don't remember placing an order of any item that would come in a big azz box this size.

Holy hell, it's a Camshaft bouncing inside this bubble pack box, at least it was in a smaller cam box.

I Looked every where for an order invoice an none to be found.

An never got any email about this cam coming.

I went back over all the order parts, I was still waiting on which was about 4 items.

I noticed the Holley fuel pump showed it was pick up but delays for some reason. Well this morning this,

I notice that my pump showed delivered on the email confirmation! what in the hell is going on.

When, I ordered this pump it was on a count down for a discount for $209 which was like over a 100 bucks off.

So, I jump on the deal last week. Now there still showing this discount but it has a LUNATI Cam listed below the Holley pump, and a Camshaft was what, I got when, I ordered a pump.

Call the 800# waiting on them to sort this out. A web site screw up big time.

So much this other Co. that sent me an Item with no invoice only an address on the shipping label from UPS.

So much for xmas help it all I can blame it on! Or Xmas cheer

Boy that's a funny looking fuel pump. I think you need to dip into the eggnog and see if it looks different

If it's for a SBC, skip the eggnog, go straight to to the Wild Turkey!

Nice a Holley fuel pump with a Lunati sku number, someone made a mistake. I wouldn't be laughing at all, what a pain to have to deal with. Definitely time for eggnog.

Well a little update,
After weeks of going round & round with Autoplicity an then different people handling my order and one saying, I order the camshaft that I corrected an sent her a my invoice that says Holley pump on it. So waiting for a my cc to be refunded.
Then I'll sent back the Holley replay also.

I'm pressed for more room to mounting the goodies in places in between other items, I've mounted things.

So, I finely decided where and how, I'll mount my efi fuel pump.
I drilled 6 mounting holes in the frame rail under the driver seat side.

I spent a couple of day looking everything over on where and how to mount stuff an run the in & return line building a mapped out plan in my head before, I jump into it.

Plus looked through my junk iron box to see what could be used for and how to mount double 6lbs pump. This pump has been tested up to 3000hrs and can be run as two or single stage pumsaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

When, I made up my mine on the way, I wanted to do my fuel system, I selection a return fuel system that meant a lot more work then if , I had going with one of the fuel systems command centers systems.

So it will take a little more planning an routing two fuel lines not counting setting up the fuel tank for a return line.

I decided to use the L bracket mounted to the inside the inner frame rail so got all the holes drill in the frame. Here a picture of the way the pump will mount once bolted into the frame. This is a 1/4" aluminum L bracket that will be mounted with a 1/6th" piece of rubber glued to the back side between hopefully so the pump don't radiate to much noise

Also has been cold and rainy yesterday an windy as hell.
The next few days look pretty good for getting something done

I mounted my pump in the same location. I used my factory line as the return line and then ran the supplied rubber Efi hose for the main line. Keep at it you'll be done in no time.

I still got the in-cab tank with the EFI but plan to install a rear-mounted 72-80 Scout II tank. It is currently set up with the pump direction pointing towards the back and the pressurized section runs to the rear, then across the crossmember, and then forward on the passenger side frame rail up to the throttle body. Adel (aka "cushion clamps") are used generously.

When the Scout II tank goes in, the pump will be moved in front of the tank on the crossmember. Hence, why the pressure hose is left long for now.

Below is a pic of where the pump is currently mounted... after of the leading edge of the bed so it stays out of the weather.

Btw, I'd apply red or green Loctite on all the fuel pump mounting bolts.. especially where rubber isolators are used.

Since mine is a 4wd, I got 20' of the SS Braided -6 to go in & out so, I'll remover about 80% of the stock gas line since it's old won't be use again plus my inner frame has a lot of cables & wires brake line so can use the more room.

I'd like to put a 40gal ss tank into the bed some day so got the extra ss hose to do that. Hell can't go very far with a 18 gal tank with out talking extra gas in cars that just takes up room in the bed.

It's like having a boat you can only go as far as a half a of your gas supply so you'll have enough to get back if no refueling places along the way.

I agree on the tank size my 64 is on a 75 f150 frame and I kept the Midship tank and ditched the rear one, I am thinking of adding it back in then pumping between them. I have even considered the larger aftermarket one the use in the Broncos, I believe it's 38 gallons I just don't want it to hang down too far.

I get approx 15 mpg so far at my best with my 466 with the overdrive which is water better than the carb I ran plus the street manners are way better with the Efi. So to go any distance I fill up every 180-200 miles just like my motorcycle.lol. D

I got the fuel pump mounted finally the other day before it stated to rain.

Well been slowly tinkering with the fuel in & return lines getting them routed an mounted to the inside of the frame. My new tank showed up yesterday evening so stated back on it today an got the tank setup up for the return line.

An how do ya keep the inner lock nut from turning simple put a socket on an hold it while you tighten the outer nut.

No rain for a few day so, Ill try to get the new tank in and the return hooked up for now.

This his not where, I had planed to put it but my ratchet was a little to lagre with the socket into the filler pipe, so had to mount to near the sender. Doing the return line fittings in red& blue an the input fuel line in all black fittings to keep them from getting hooked up wrong.
