Yeah....just because you have the 3" and the "larger landing loops" doesn't mean that all hooks will fit. My dad's Magnum bay boat trailer hooks will not fit through to lock securely. My Boatmate hooks work fine.

Sure....that will work and they look just Ok...but one more stupid step that we have to do to pull a trailer. Again...get with it Ford.

So far this is my biggest complaint on my new truck. If it remains that way, I'll be estatic. And after using these hammerlok unions to hook on to yesterday when I towed, I will be installing them on my F150 as well. They're super handy.

Thanks AK. Do you pull them off when not towing or just leave them there? I might get a pair for my dad's truck.

Now time to find black powder coated ones....I googled a little last night (not much) and only found non-painted, red, and green, if anyone finds them let me know! I will buy these if I can't but would prefer to keep it black to hide them a little better.

AK looks like you got 1/2". Do you have the 2 1/2" or 3" hitch. I don't have my truck yet. Will they fit on both? As an engineer, I think they look sexy whether I need them or not....lol. I ordered a 350 SRW. Assuming I get the 3"????? Who is interested in a group buy if I can find bulk price? Problem might be shipping pairs to everyone, but they are $30 a piece and everyone needs a pair...
