Christmas present

Got one from Santa and it works as advertised-- great.

Put battery in camera. Turn it on. Plug monitor into cigarette 12v plug -- it pairs up--- whala. Picture. Great little camera.

I'm also wondering how long it will last, I'm looking for something to mount on the back of the trailer when double rowing.

CabCAM? Systems: Analog Wireless System | A-WL56M2C

Have this one, one camera up front inside looking back, one up high on the back looking down/back. The one on the back is a good rearview mirror and can see the motorcycle mount on the rear bumper, the inside one lets me know when I forgot to lock the fridge door.

I think it was more like $500, but works excellent. They are hardwired for power, so that was a little more work, but no batteries that way, either.

Wow double towing? Denny you are merciless on that 6.2! I have had the Voyager WVOS511 on my 31ft fiver for 2 yrs and I can't recommend it , the picture quality is barely better than awful & keeps losing signal . It has also taken to freezing up lately and no amount of resets or restarts helps, 20 minutes later it comes back up again on its own. Its powered from the middle marker light at the back , which means that the lights have to be on for it to work , that is no problem & I can live with it, but the other issues make it bad.

Thanks that's what I wanted to know.

I haven't double towed with our 6.2 yet because we've had other things going on in the summer the last few years but we did it all the time with our 2 valve 4 speed V10 so l am sure it will handle it.

As I've said before I'm **** about maintenance but I buy my trucks to use and I use them hard, when I was still working I was even harder on my work trucks, I don't think most people know just how tough Ford trucks are.

Tough they are. On Friday we are going on our annual 3 week long vacation and will be towing the fiver from Ontario to Arizona and California, and depending on time and weather we might head up to British Columbia to visit relatives, then return. Have over 90,000km on the 6.2 mostly towing.
