1982 front hitch
I have a 1982 F250 4x4 with a hitch on the back. I would like to put a trailer hitch on the front below the bumper to mount a winch to, with battery hook up at the front and back. Does anybody know of a bolt on hitch for the front for this truck could not find any in my catalogs.

I don't know of a bolt on for this. Everyone I know Just buys the Hitch that mounts to the rear bumper like a drop hitch. Then buy a tubed steel to mount the hitch to then mount to front frame. Then on the battery hook ups at the rear It's cheaper to place a battery in the bed of the truck and run wire from front battery to keep it charged. Because the right gauged wire needed to power a rear mounted wench at right voltage will cost right at $200 with all parts needed. If i remember right warn sells a kit to do it but it's about the same and the wench pulls way down. compared to the battery setup
