Injector removal

Hey guys, another issue. Does anyone have any special tips or tricks on getting injectors out? I've got everything out and the back two injectors unbolted, but they won't come out... I've got a 12" and a 17 3/4" prybar that I'm trying to get it with but they don't want to budge... any tips? Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it!

twist it a lil bit and then use a lever to pull it, I had one stuck real good and used a bigger prybar

make sure you remove the spouts or you can crack a coil

I've got two out now, the two back ones on the drivers side bank. The rear passenger is starting to come.

What all do I need to check the injector cups for?

check for cracks and overheated by dark color also can pressureize coolant and check cups for any leaks after a few hours

I just wire brushed my injector tips with a brass brush prior to install

Oil won't hurt a thing. Make sure you purge the oil out via glow plugs after install by cranking over by hand the engine with a wrench on main pulls for two revolutions. The crank engine over by jumping solenoid for a few seconds. Install glow plugs and cranking a while to pressurize hpop oil in heads. Took my quite a few cranks to get going.
