steering shaft question

So I have been looking to replace my steering shaft recently. I found most people using the borgeson shaft as there replacement. So when I looked them up it says it will fit from 66-07 ford pickups. After seeing the price I thought if it will fit up to an 07 then by that reasoning an 07 shaft should fit my 97 truck. Am I way off base or on the right track? I only ask as I can get take off parts at very good prices.

^^^^^ +1; the NSA doesn't care if you get the right parts for your truck; the parts suppliers do.

(You referenced a certain well-connected search engine; this is the first we've heard of the site you reached from there....)

I used this one on my 1993 f350. They are made to be cut a few inches, I just left mine full length Borgeson 000981 Steering Shaft https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004A64HW2..._btOeybRRAYTGJ
