I've been working on my cruise control problem and finally got down to believing the problem is in the connector that goes to the switch on the master cylinder. The wiring harness is supported by 2 small wires going to the switch directly above it and as the switch is good the weight of the harness has caused an open in the connector.
Can someone tell me who makes the new style OEM connectors. Trade name or place to get replacements and parts????
I have that and haven't had any luck. There are 6 pages of 2 pin connectors with no clues as to what they fit. Trying to eyeball match just doesn't work. I need the part number of the plug to do any good.
What year is your truck?....there was a recall on older trucks for cruise control problems and there was a replacement harness that plugged into the switch on the master cylinder...
Go to this website and see if there is a recall on your truck brakes....
It's a 2009 and that looks like it but they're smoking crack if they think I will pay $45 for a $5 connector and 1' of wire. I was going to try O'Reillys next time in town. I can't believe they have it listed.
