Good evening gang. Replaced the siding on the side of the garage and have a couple narrow spots on the front of the house left to do. I am sore. Also helped the neighbor replace a bunch of his sidewalk brick last night. My knees can't take all this up, down, and kneeling.
You know that! Funny you say that though. When I was working on tearing the siding off the garage I had to ask Lynn to move. She was on her knees taking plants out. I said to her: "I never thought I would ever say this but I need you to get off your knees". LOL
This is what a friggin moron the builder was. If you look at the picture of the garage you see there is one piece of siding that butts up to the steps, another that comes up against them on the bottom and is spliced into that other one that runs up to the house along the landing. They sided the house THEN poured the concrete!!
I had to use the Sawzall to get the bottom piece cut and the cutoff wheel on the other one above it. LOL
Spent much of the day working on the boat. In effort to troubleshoot an intermittent overheat, I pulled the lower half of the outdrive to check out the impeller. Got everything apart and it looked like this:
Not sure if I botched the install back in May, or the vanes contorted like that as I was disassembling, but I decided to replace it anyway. Realized after the fact that the rubber was starting to come unbonded from the hub, so it's a good thing I did. Won't be using that brand anymore.
Took it for a test run this evening and it performed great. Over 3 minutes at WOT and the needle didn't budge over 175.
