I'll look into it. Could a broken vacuum connector cause this problem?

Nope; IP is fully mechanical, with an electrical shut off solenoid.
Make sure you've got power at the shut off solenoid(forward most terminal on the GP), and that the solenoid inside clicks when you apply power.

Also, make sure you are flooring the throttle when attempting to bleed it. Might be worth totally removing one high-pressure line to verify that you are or are not getting fuel from the IP, and it's not just air in the lines that is preventing you from knowing it it is working or not.

Alright. I ask because the vacuum fitting above a "sensor" that varies with throttle position just right of the IP has a fitting and the bottom dowel is broke so its just "there" on the sensor essentially a huge vacuum leak. And yes, The FSS has power, faintly clicks, And throttle wide open. Took a line off and still got nothing.

You'll have trouble with your C6 transmission shifting, but the engine won't care.

Ignore the main point of the video, but this explains how to remove the top of the IP, and I believe I pointed out where the metering valve is. Make sure it moves freely, and rotates as you manipulate the throttle linkage.
Edit:
The metering valve is at the upper right(rear driver's side) corner of the IP, under the cover. It moves back and forth attached to a linkage that goes down the passenger's side of the IP and to the "front" of it, where the flyweights are located. The FSS solenoid pushes against a tab in that linkage which pushes the metering valve to full shut off.
