Tried to bleed air out of IP and got nothing out of the lines at injectors but did get a weak stream at the return port. Is the IP gone weak and how can I test it? If not, what would be the cause of this? If I can get fuel at the injectors, Good chance this old thing will run. I do know, that as soon as I pulled one battery off the charge and put it on, hit the starter, It spun at the proper speed. But let the surface charge die off some and it slows back down.

Have you checked that your lift pump is supplying fuel to the ip?
Had power to solenoid, brand new filter, plenty of fuel pressure to IP. Either way, I should have a new one coming soon. Sending the guy my old one for "core" deposit and to see how it looks.
ohh well .. they do have a lifespan and i guess it was it's time ..
also .. it seems like they're spraying a tonne of salt down on the dark side of the moon .. i guess it makes sense because it's never sunshiny over there .. gotta be icy and snowy if there is enough water
Good thing I'm on the dark side of the sun. Guy I got the pump from said he turned it up a little but since it's going on a N/A 6.9 that has no known history and for first light in 8 years, he going to turn it down.
thats good .. haha i didn't see the dark side of the sun .. i just read dark side . .. .. and it's always moon . . so i didn't proceed to read the remainder ... where is the dark side of the sun? the inside ??
Exactly. I'm one bright sumbitch and everyone knows about me.
Not really. I'm more like a dome light on a weak battery kind of bright and hardly known about like proper vehicle maintenance on a 6.0 to a ricer kid and his honda.
they got a kinda bad rap .. but i really like the sound of them .. they sound like an idi on steroids ..
those redbull .. or .. monster energy trucks .. i can't remember .. the medium duty international trucks have the 6.0 and every time i see one i notice the sound ..
so i looked it up and said online they have the 6.0 and everyone was doggin' it .. but from the outside sounds like a good running motor ..
****
and ricer kids .. ha had one yesterday on my six .. in a little vw golf or something .. we were in a slow construction zone .. and i was going safe speed .. my truck is big after all and the clearance in very narrow ..
but he was back there behind me in his little match box car going .. whovroom whovrooom .. pop pop pop .. lol

I call the 6.0 "The Infection".... Tell you anything? I don't even drive the damn thing. It only has 37K highway miles. It sits so long moss started growing on the headlights. It does sound good though. Mine is bone dead stock. Not even chipped. Hell, When I put new batteries in, I ended up with motorcraft...The 6 CAN be a damn good engine but it takes money. Theres a shop in Georgia that does some **** called bullet and gorilla proof them but **** he wants alot to do it. Ton of aftermarket ****. But I've also heard if you just take care of it, don't run the **** out of it, don't use low grade filters and fluids, and don't chip it, You'll be fine. I don't know. There is a reason Ford ditched international for life.....
Yep. The 6.0 is kinda like HIV is to humans. Once you got it, you got it. No one else knows you have it unless you tell them.
Its always there and will let you get what you need to do get done. But its still there.
And one day,
It will kill you and you'll feel it forever.
6.0 Repair bills are stupid expensive...And depending on what, You'll feel it for a long time...
Just read this....It sounds so dark and morbid, Lol. But seriously, I have mixed feelings about it. When everything is good, My 6.0 is one bad bitch....I love it. But when it comes PM time or when **** breaks.....I don't own it....Lol.
Before you go replacing your IP, check your metering valve first.
I once had an IP that wouldn't get any fuel to the injectors, even though my e-pump was supplying it fuel. Turned out my metering valve was stuck, and just needed to be jiggled.
There's a video on youtube on how to adjust that. It requires opening up your IP, so be careful and CLEAN.
