I have a 1995 Ford Bronco, Eddie Bauer edition. It's full size with a 1994 rebuilt transmission. I'm don't know a lot about vehicles so need something simple. The ABS light came on, then the speedometer stopped working, then shifting became hard at first and second gear, now the OD light is blinking. No check engine light. We changed the VSS and the neutral safety switch but no help. No blown fuses. OBD1 codes are 452,654,10,212.
Please help me. I don't want to sell her. She's in awesome condition for the year. Thanks in advance.

Reason: adding diagnostic code
Are the other dials in the PSOM (dash) working?. You also need to retrieve those codes again, there will be only either 2 digit codes or 3 digit codes, not a mixture of both. See that the wiring to the transmission and the VSS isn't shorted, broken, or cut. Did you do anything before this symptoms developed? forded any water etc?.
We did both the obd1 scanner and the flashing of the check engine lights and got the same mix of codes. We did ford some water a couple of weeks ago. Also water pump died and water went everywhere.
The trasmission is in fail-safe mode right now, and it seems that somehow it isn't getting any electrical input, when I get some time I'll check those codes for you (still not sure how it's possible for you to get that mix). Try unplugging the transmission connector and cleaning it, same with the ECM (truck's computer).
Sorry. PSOM dials all work except speedometer and odometer
The PSOM is part of the speedometer/odometer only. It has nothing to do with any of the other gauges/indicators.
If the odometer display is blank and the speedometer does not read anything while moving check Fuse 18. It supplies power to the PSOM with the key in the Run position. This is most likely the cause of your CM Code 452 (Computer detected an error in the VSS or PSOM signal during the last 80 warm-up cycles.) and the reason why the transmission is shifting hard and late. If Fuse 18 is good then you need to pull the cluster then inspect the PSOM board on the back for signs of damage.
As far as KOEO Code 654 (MLP sensor not in park position) is concerned check the sensor alignment on the driver side of the transmission.
"Code" 10 is not really a code, many code readers interpret the separator flash between the KOEO tests and CM (Stored Code) display as Code 10.
CM Code 212 (Loss of IDM input to EEC). This indicates the PCM, computer, is not receiving the Ignition Diagnostic Monitor signal from the Ignition Control Module. Most likely caused by using a gray colored ICM (Push-Start Ignition) on a truck (yours) using the Computer Controlled Dwell (CCD) ignition. You should have a black colored CCD style Ignition Control Module on the truck.
Check the trans harness where it connects to the trans they make a repair harness for that for a reason mine was rotted out about 6 inches away from the connection had to rewire all of it with that he go sensor fun LOL also check the sensor in the rear end that affects a lot it's not only a abs sensor it's also deals with shifting and other issues hope this helps

As I previously stated if the odometer is blank (re:Post#4 "Sorry. PSOM dials all work except speedometer and odometer") the OP needs to determine if the PSOM is getting power or is otherwise damaged. Replacing the VSS is not going to do anything except lighten your wallet.
