No, I don't need to change them, yet. Just trying to learn more about the 5er.
At this time, I'm trying to find out how many gallons the gray and black tanks are. With outside measurements, I converted volume to gallons. Black = 38 gallons; Gray = 24 gallons; and Fresh = 31 gallons.
Since these are not the true volume numbers of the tanks, I tried researching by brand name. I'm not having luck figuring the brand name. I guess I could call some places to find out what size replacement tanks I would need for my 5er.
When I have had to replace tanks in the past, I have measured them and then searched. it does not help much to know what you had in an RV that old as often they are out of production a few years after they were produced. The good news, of course, is it is almost never necessary to replace tanks unless they are left full in freezing weather or the RV is in an accident.
Companies are often bought out or simply go out of business. If you google "RV holding tank manufacturers" several current major players pop right up.
