I'm sure this has been covered, but the closest I could find was a '95 with dual tanks and a graph showing which cab/box combo had for tanks that year.
I'm trying to figure out how big the front vs rear tanks are on my '90. Someone told me a 5 gallon tank in the front and 12 in the rear. I usually just dump a few gallons at a time so I don't end up with a tankful of crud when I don't drive it for awhile. So I've never actually tried to empty then fill both up, but it'd be nice to know what it'd take. I think the most I've dumped in was about 9 gallons in the rear and it ended up around 3/4 tank.
Front tanks are either 16gal or 19 gal. Usually the 16 gal tanks are in the short bed trucks. Rear tanks are mostly 19 gal tanks, or possable 38 gal tank if someone ordered it or installed a Bronco tank.
I found out I have a 16 gal front tank in my 89. No wonder why I don't get over 200 miles on a tank full.....
Anybody know the dimensions on a bronco fuel tank? I'd love to swap one in to my truck, but I've got a DMI spring loaded drawbar hitch so I have a limited depth that I could go.
