That's something I hadn't thought about. Unfortunately I can't find anything close by, which is a must because I'll still have to take my boys to daycare and school in the morning.
I haven't lived in an apartment complex in almost ten years, and I'm not real excited about it. Short 6-month lease though, and at the end of that I'll probably have a better idea of what I wanna do. Probably finding another house to rent of some sort. Not ready to sign a 12-month lease at the moment, so this is the best I can come up with.
Looks like a nice clean place. So you will need to leave your soon to be new place, go to your house, pick up your boys and take them to day care and school before you go to work every morning? I see why close is needed. Maybe you can tent on the lawn? Too bad you couldn't find a small slide in truck camper. But would still need a better place for winter

Yup, probably about three days a week or so. My mother-in-law lives with us, but her work schedule can get in the way of that. Karri leaves for work at 5:10 in the morning, so she can't. We're trying hard to keep things friendly and normal-ish for the kids, so this isn't a bad thing.
This place is about 17 miles from the house, then another 11 miles to drop the kids off and go to work. 7 miles to get back to the new place after work.

Yup. After Randy's suggestion I briefly thought about buying a small camper to use for the next month or two. But it wouldn't work in a Minnesota winter, and I'd still need a place to put it.
It's great you two are working on keeping it civil. Better probably in the long run that way. Seems like it has been really stressful year with the move, your daughter's health and your wife's new job. I could see where that would put a lot of strain on a relationship
Looks really nice Jay! Good to have big jobs like that behind you...
I'll need a roof in the next few years. Unless a hail storm comes up, I'll be paying a lot of money... We'll likely do a metal roof like we did on the shop.
