I agree with you Tom... It should be handled differently in my opinion (too bad they don't listen)...
HRCs medical records have not been fully disclosed as they have not included hospital records - only medical check-ups (according to NPR / MPR). I agree that DTs medical records are also MIA. But I have to ask in either case - what right do we have in knowing what their personal-confidential information is anyway? HIPAA should come into play somewhere. Instead, I would like to see an independent panel of doctors review the candidates information as well as requiring new tests when needed. This panel would then make the determination if each of the candidates would be fit for 4 grueling years as POTUS. The same tests should be made of the VP candidates.
Does it matter though? I don't think there is a health requirement for being president is there? It is based on personal decision. A mental health check up is probably way more important.

if that were the case A LOT of Congress would fail! Bunch of loony tunes characters. IMO
Let's be honest, you'd be hard pressed to find any politician in it for the right reasons. Even if they had to, or did release medical records, it's only gonna be what they want out there. A basic check up says very little. Politics are a sham, we all know that. The only thing now-a-days to consider is how long before the aholes in office completely wreck the country?
And now we find out that our healthcare is going up roughly 50%. When you're paying 2g a month to begin with, that's astronomical! That is more than what we get from social security..
....and people ask me why I'm working again so soon after retiring... Bills!
I don't think a single encumbent deserves to serve another term...
I'm 63... Medicare will kick in when we're 65.
Guessing that I need to get down to the VA and just surrender....
I really didn't want to go that route, but at 3k a month, it's past rediculous... We were at the county assistance office today to try and get a handle on the plans for 2017. The gal there told us that our only other option was to just go without insurance as the federal penalty is only $1300 a month for not having insurance... Grrrrr....
Since this has been our first full year with no income other than SS and her small pension, we will qualify for some medical assistance and that may knock as much as a grand off per month. We still have enough in savings and what I earned at the fab shop and parts I've sold to make it a year.....

Wow, Randy...it always amazes me just how broken things are with our healthcare system. I get reminded of that frequently, and the amount of waste really gets to me.
People like to think that insurance companies are screwing them and laughing all the way to the bank. Unfortunately, the system is just that inefficient, and extraordinarily expen$ive for those who need it. For what it's worth, Tricare paid out $57,194.79 for Hannah's care in the month of August.
It's the medical industry that has screwed us, maybe government for allowing it. ObamaCare made it worse by expecting healthy people to over pay for insurance so low income people can have it. Surprisingly, it's not working...
