Sounds like rain is adjusting everyone's plans for this weekend. I was supposed to cut silage for my buddy Monday, Tuesday but they are predicting rain so it got bumped to Saturday. Plan is to get off work by 10 tonight, be home by 1 am Sat. and get chopping by 7 or 8. Figure a good 14 to 16 hours and we'll be done.

Jay, I'm looking forward to it, I know I'll be dragging butt on Sunday, but I love chopping. You get a lot of equipment moving and there's a lot of power being shown off. Best part is being cutter operator though, you just can't beat the sound of the cutter head when it's chopping. It ranks right up there with the whistle of a turbo, if not higher. If we get a chance Saturday I'm going to try and get some pictures taken of the whole operation. It's something to see.
