Jim, that looks great!
Are you putting the kink in the sidewalk to add character or?
Having done some paver work, I can appreciate your back pain..
I tore up both rotators just building this little guy we call "Bush Garden" in front of the house a couple weeks ago..
All of the bottom course of block were pounded down one inch into paver base once they were level...

Thanks guys...

Jay, that's a big project alright... Looking really good too!!!
Are you using any of that landscaping adhesive between the blocks, or letting gravity do its thing?
I tried using it for the first time on Bush Garden and it gives me a bit more confidence that it won't fall over..

Thanks for the compliments guys. I don't feel so alone slaving away now.

That's a lot of retaining wall Jay. It looks great!

I like the arcs you incorporated in your geometry Randy.

The kink in the path is for character, to line it up with the house and shoot the gap between the trees right down the middle. The rocks in front of the house will be replaced with pavers. Hopefully this year still. You can see the retaining wall on the far left of this pick and the blocks i used as edging for my rocks continuing from there to the front of the house. They were staggered in height to match the grade. I want to remove them and continue the retaining wall along this side and blend into the new sidewalk area. I used the adhesive on the top row of all my retaining walls.
