Hi all,
so I am still fairly new here to FTE and just heard about the WA chapter section, so I was wondering if anyone was near by me and willing to help give some advice and lend me some help on getting a few things done and fixed up on my truck. I have a 79 F250 4x4 that I'm wanting to get fixed up here soon and am fairly new to fixing up trucks. If anyone is near the 98503 to 98541 area, Oly and west of Oly out towards the coast, I'd really appreciate getting together with others who are more experienced with fixing up these old trucks so that I can get mine fixed up. Need to mount Type 8 Mirrors, fix and straighten out my tailgate so it closes and latches or replace it if I can find one. And just some other odds and ends, window, door seals etc.
It can take a bit to get a response. Not an instant gratification crowd I guess. Youre a bit out of my range, and new to remodeling trucks, so i cant be more help without some more specifics about what the individual problems you are having. Are you looking for retailers or resellers, swap meets for parts? Installation techniqes for the part you found at a junkyard?
A meetup looks best for general questions and those can be found by stalking classic cars on a saturday night. If you do it early, they are headed for a meet generally. Cars in a group are always going somewhere fun, be it a meet or ambar after a meet. Win either way.

Lee- Welcome to FTE. I'm not sure how busy @oddfordjunkie is but he has extensive knowledge on the bump and dent side trucks. Last I knew he was in the Shelton area.
