Am fairly new here and new to working on a fixing up old trucks but have one that I'm wanting to get fixed up here in the near future and was wondering if anyone was around, near by who would be willing to help out some. I can help and do some of the work but would like someone there who is more experienced. I can't really pay much but could always help you out by being an extra hand for help working on your truck also. Am wanting to replace seals on door windows and door, interior and change from my current mirrors to type 8 and need to fix latches or straighten out my tailgate so that it'll close and latch and be useable.
I'd give ya a hand but I'm up in Bellingham area. I just replaced all the weatherstripping, went through all latches and fixed up my tail gate mechanisms on my Highboy. There's a couple good on Youtube for the weatherstripping. And there's tons of guys including myself on here that'd be willing to help on this forum if you get stuck.
You could also try the WA Chapter as well. Goodluck!
