On second thought, maybe I stand corrected. Given that many people on here have purchased their trucks with a whole chart of "TBD" ratings might just blow the whole case! LOL
Recent legal precedent. "Acted carelessly and negligently. Lied about it. Not enough evidence to prosecute."
Highjumper, I have read this stuff about overloaded legal jeopardy countless times on the internet, but never actually read about a case in reality for a non-commercial situation. Perhaps you could provide a link?
Also, I find it curious after reading your comments over on the suspension thread that you don't seem to have the same concerns about owing a duty of care to the driving public when you modify a certified vehicle with unauthorized steering and suspension components. What does the sign on your roof say?

Do your own research. Wait, apparently you have. Lol
My suspension mod and "unauthorized" components doesn't touch the same issues as exceeding a set weight limit. Thanks for the weekend warrior lawyering, but it was a fail.
Haha someone please rep Rasalas for this 'Hillary-ous' comment - mine is empty!
I tried, and failed. Out of ammo! It was hilarious anyway. But proves a point. You can advance any position you want in today's legal system. No way I am going to live my life in fear of every possible hypothetical vulnerability.
Anyone have any idea when Ford is going to post the specific towing specs for the specific different truck configurations? When I look under towing specs on Fords 2017 Super Duty site, virtually all the slots under the different truck configurations still show TBD. They list the f250 SRW 4x2, and 350/450 DRW, but nothing for the the 250 4x4 or any of the 350 SRW. I'm just not comfortable ordering a truck without the specifics.

The truck manager at my dealer told me yesterday that the final towing specs would be released September 17th.
He also mentioned that his loaded F-450 for stock was pushed back to mid October
Lots of holes still in the matrix and it still says preliminary. More questions than answers, though it does specifically indicate that the 20" tires have 100 lbs less capacity than the 18" tires.
