Just as reference my MSRP was 80,400 and I agreed on $74k to dealer. Think it was pretty decent. Over 6k off. Many dealers not budging off MSRP out there but many are willing to deal you just gotta look. Problem is not much inventory yet so if it's a truck you ordered the dealer has you by the walnuts. I negotiated price before ordering so had more leverage. If they would've had my truck at the time I'm sure I would've paid closer to MSRP.
Not sure what a great deal is to you but at this point a great deal would be anything that puts my truck in the driveway!g ..... My patience is running low
Well I am about to settle and cancel my order and buy the above truck. Not waiting till December now for mine. This truck has everything I ordered but the color.
Jace2016: which dealer you're dealing with? I'm about 3.5hrs from you. I'm talking to my local dealer in San Leandro who I bought a truck from them before but had not finalized anything yet, not even drafting out details of what I want. Still in the decision process of making up my mind on my ideal specs.
RubyRed350Platinum: were you able to make any deal when you placed your order? I also saw a couple of trucks on various dealers lots - just not exactly what I really want. I'm weighting pros/cons on picking from stocks vs ordering ...

The dealer didn't want to ink a deal as he didn't know what the numbers would be when the truck arrived. I also liked the idea of waiting to see what incentives were going to be available around Christmas. However this dealer is coming almost $6k off the sticker and it's here NOW

My dealer is in Seminole, Oklahoma, a small town southeast of Oklahoma City. I used them because my truck will be registered there instead of here (long story) but in short they have been very helpful. I have a vacation home/ranch that's close to their location and family nearby. They have also come off the price a lot more than any dealerships I have found here on the west coast for some reason. The dealers here I have visited have come off MSRP very little and don't want to deal unless they have the truck on hand for some reason.

The dealer that wouldn't make you a deal on the one you ordered sounds fishy, I would go elsewhere. They know exactly what the #'s will be and can add the months rebates at the time of delivery (every month can change on the rebates as they come from Ford). I'm with you on the wait but getting what you want is nice! Having said that I think they look good in every color I have seen. I still think the dealer you ordered from is not being upfront for some reason, they know what the price is and their invoice price at the time they ordered the truck.
And here is why some dealers don't like to factory order. They're now stuck with a nearly $80k truck that they may not want.
I would feel bad if the dealership I ordered it from had any clue of customer service. When I order a $80k truck I shouldn't have to call and leave 3 voicemails every time I have a question. I even left the GM a voicemail with no return call. If they don't want my business, I can gladly go spend the monies elsewhere...and I did.
BTW they did ask for a $500 deposit. If I lose it, well worth my money to not have to deal with them for another 3-4 months.
