Yes they do! No other way to do it at this point in time, however they use all NEW parts and upgrade spindle/shaft size and and bearings in most cases.

Each time I would do it about 1/4 turn, test drive, another turn test drive etc. Only took a couple of turns to snug it up a bit but you don't want to go to far.
You will feel the wheel "binding" and not wanting to return to straight on its own. Then I would back it off 1/8 turn.
