hybee22 I saw your truck tonight at Aldi, what an excellent job, I am very impressed. We were parked (in the Fusion) towards the side of the lot closer to Big Lots, I saw the back of an Ex with tow mirrors and NO roof rack cross bars, I immediately knew it was a FTE truck. I dove down the lane in front of your truck and I knew it was yours. Again, AWESOME JOB!!!!

Thank you. I just got back into town and had to drive it. As you see, I still have a little left to work on. I do the exact same when I'm on the road and see a Excursion.
Hey Ryan, I spoke to Rob and he didnt plan on using any sound deadener. The original hood heat/sound mat doesnt fit in the 2015 hood and according to Rob, Furd doesnt make on for the 6.7l. Did you find a good solution?

I'm fairly much done, besides adding the hood struts, making a Excursion badge for the fenders, cutting the rear quarter panels off to add the rear fenders from a 2015 bed, and finish cutting the front fenders liners. The hood struts should be pretty straight forward, but I really wanted to give it a very good road trip to see how the body lines would hold up and I only need to readjust the passenger side headlight and the bumper. I think I'm going to bondo over the F250 on the badges to make them smooth and make a vinyl decal saying Excursion. I'm not really happy with the way the fender liners turned out because it doesn't really cover the complete wheel well as a 2015 liner would. I believe it will look good better with the liners that's made for the fenders and I can pick them up from the junkyard.
Sorry Sean, but money is tied up with working on the undercarriage to fix the rust issues, upgrade the suspension, and go fast goodies. I will/hopefully get a coat of paint on the fenders before they start rusting and will Paint as much as I can with a quart of black paint. I really don't care what it looks like now...it's my project people mover.
