I am also now getting the audible tone when testing resistance from pin 18 to pin 22.
I swear I'm not typically this dumb, I am just overwhelmed at this point. I promise you the next time I'm in Utah, I'm buying you a drink or 14. Your patience and help is such a huge difference maker for me right now.
[QUOTE=usmarine1979;16479647]I am also now getting the audible tone when testing resistance from pin 18 to pin 22.

what side of the plug at trans were you on at this time
things going into trans
or
leading back to PCM
anytime a DVM is set ohm or continuity you do not want to Feed it power or the DVM may not be calibrated correct or work at all
Testing at the Trans plug going back to PCM side with Key ON would have feed DVM power 5.03 volts to be exact
If so touch the battery terminals to verify DVM Accuracy reading a 12 volts range and nothing crazy DVM set to read DC volts IM sure tons of other things come into play when testing a DVM for accuracy Probably yours is OK
OHM pins 18 & 22 going into trans side of things
There are so many rules to electronics testing that its hard

I've got a 5" exhaust pipe directly in front of the Trans side plug making it impossible to see where my leads are, much less if they are on the right pins. I might have to go get some alligator clips or something
well you most likely need an internal harness at this point
I find it hard to believe you got 2 bad TFT Sensors
At the TFT sensor 2 pins comong Directly out the sensor set DVM to OHM or Beep and if it beep its OK to a Point Use ohm value per the temp on step B4 scale to verify sensor integrity
Thanks Tideman, it was a struggle at times. I drove to oreilly's in it and thought the issue was gone. For the first time I saw what looked to be legitimate Temps until it started bouncing erratically again, then dropped to that pic and lower. At this point, my sense of humor is all I have left.

Hey, your truck is running! Read a few no-start threads and you'll feel a whole lot better about just a flaky trans temp.
I'd have to go back through your thread to see if this was asked, but what does the dash gauge do while this is going on? Edit: Ignore this last idiot sentence
