Thanks guys, now I really can't wait until I hit 100K. Just not willing to take the chance and screw with the warranty. Heard to many horror stories.
Like I said, can't wait.
That is what's holding me back too. I've only got 96k more miles I guess
I don't think you should wait. Warranty will only protect you so far, whereas a proper delete will protect the engine itself. My urea heater went out, truck still under warranty, part not covered. Why wouldn't I expect other epa parts to fail before warranty expires that are also not covered by warranty? Took that crap off and set my truck free!
And again yet another story of the awesome dealer not taking care of its customers. If I bought a brand new 6.7, it'd be deleted before it left the lot.

Apparently I didn't purchase the super-awesome esp, even though that's what I asked for
I did, however, purchase the truck with 50K miles on it already (with full service records, well maintained). I chalk it up to live and learn.
Mine has 50,000 km on it and personally couldn't wait any longer. I figured I was going to do it anyways so I might as well do it and enjoy it that much longer. My buddy did it right after he got it home from the lot no issues pushing 70000 km now.I did my 6.4 and waited for the warranty before I did it and all of a sudden I had an old truck as time goes so fast and wanted something newer I would have enjoyed the truck that much longer. I know I am taking a chance but I love the way the truck runs, no regens, no def and no worries about problems with my pollution crap. Have you ever looked inside a dpf? it is suprising how any air gets through at all. We also checked my egr valve and it was filthy with 50000 kms it will only get worse
I took home as many parts as the shop could relinquish without them getting into trouble from epa. There was a chunk of aluminum above the passenger-side head, full of coolant - I think they said it was the urea cooler ... Not sure. It was amazing how much space and horsepower that crap stole from the truck. I'll be deleting my new ride when I get it, after I put another 1.9 million miles on this one.
To be fair, I want your red truck too. Nothing like a classic BEAST that performs better than a modern chevy or fiat.
Thanks man. It's been really good to me and it's exempt form emissions stuff, so it'll be staying around awhile. It's had a TON of work and mods. No complaints.

Seriously, that's a beautiful truck. I don't know enough about diesels yet, but I'm learning. Also don't know what 1/2 the mods you've listed do/are ... You have a project thread or something I could read?

Im in the same boat. My warranty doesn't expire for another year. I just bought a wifi code reader. Im going to download the torque app when it shows up. Just curious where do guys go to get their stuff smogged in cali? after they delete?
Need to call Jeremy or Mike at No Limit. The guys pushing the 6.7 platform mostly post on Powerstroke Army or the 6.7 Facebook page.
My buddy Jeff works at Spartan. They push them to find the weak spots. They just pushed his personal truck to the point it chunked a rod. Total carnage. Gotta respect the guys that are willing to push the boundaries and find the limits. Especially their wallets! Much respect
