How do you go about deleting everything if your truck has to go through emissions?
Does the programmer tell the emissions computer everything is up to par?
Thanks
Mitch

Mitch, I assume you meant to ask the singular question of how does the truck run without the emissions equipment in place? The tuner just fools the truck and tell the truck everything is ok. That's all. It basically reports no fault or false readings or lies

The computer and truck are happy. The emissions inspector may not be so happy.

If you have to be tested, your choices are to either not delete, or delete, but reinstall everything and take the aftermarket tune off of the truck before going for your emissions test. Once the test is over, you can take all of the emissions stuff back off and retune the truck.
Well pulled the trigger, I have everything on order to do my delete. I will be deleting the DPF , deleting the EGR, going to run 4" stainless exhaust and an Edge monitor. I will keep you informed with the results when finished for those who may be interested
thanks again for the input

The shop that is doing the work for me has them coming he has used the guys for years and has proven success with them. The guy that owns the shop is running exactly what I have ordered for mine
With tuning and tuners, you really get what you pay for. It really comes down to your driving style and future mods in mind. Find a good information source on your specific styles, read up and form your own opinion. There are some cheap tuners that have issues with connectivity and won't run the higher end tunes. There are tunes that shift crappy and run high EGTs. Stay away from both of those. Beware of the spacebook clowns that beat their chest about having the best. Watch for the people that are pushing the limits of the 6.7 and follow them. They are typically tweaking the tunes to get the most reliability out of all the components.

Not to sound like a dummy, but any help finding good information sources would be great. How do I find "world's best driver" style tune? Semi-joking. Who are the people pushing the limits of the 6.7L? Don't know how to start looking for that
