Vacuum lines sizes? - time to replace

Time to replace the aging vacuum lines to the 4wd and probably anywhere I can find the old rubber stuff.

Does anyone know the size of the lines and are they mostly the same?

I'd like to order a roll so I can make ones like the front hubs longer, stuff like that.

Thanks!

Looking through my holiday season mod list now for the size because I replaced the lines to the 4x4 hubs.

EDIT: I used 5/32 (4mm) vacuum hose when I changed the OEM lines out. I also put some wire loom around the rubber portion of the line just for added protection and because I had a lot of it laying around.

Awesome, thanks!

Do you have a guess-timate as to how much you used?

I bought 5' because I was only doing the lines to the hubs and they terminate near the middle of the shock so I did not need that much. I believe I had enough left over to replace the rear differential vent hose.

Might I offer the tempting suggestion to "upgrade" to silicone vacuum hose. It's available in Black, Blue, or Red, and is reportedly much more durable than the standard rubber hose.

On the other hand, you might not really need it to last another 15-20 years. If you are interested, though, Summit has at the link below, and there's a picture for visual reference.

Coincidentally I did upgrade to silicone, bought 5' off of Ebay for a steal of a price. I guess I left that out of my posts above...

Just ordered 10' of 4mm Blue silicon vacuum tubing for $6.99

It'll be here next week and I can work on it the following week.

Thanks again, fellas!
