Vacuum Hoses

I get a code 332 when I run the reader. I am looking through previous posts and trying to fix the problem. As I am a novice mechanic I have two questions.

1. The previous posts talk about replacing the plastic vacuum lines with rubber ones. Am I deducing correctly that the two plastic vacuum lines are the ones coming from the coffee can?

2. When replacing them, what should I ask for; if I go to a parts store, what should I tell them I need?

Thanks as always.

If the lines that are going to the can are broken or cracked then yeah fix those. Just remove any tubing or tape and inspect the lines. It shouldn't be hard to see where it's cracked.

You can patch it with rubber vacuum hose or use the same kind of hard lines. If i remember correctly it's 1/8" inner diameter vacuum hose. To be sure just take a small piece of the original line with you. Get as much as you need, it's sold by the foot. The plastic hard lines are sold in pre-packaged lengths of i think 6 or 10 feet, which you can get yourself at whatever parts store you go to.
