F-250 wheels

I have a '64 F-250. Up through what years did ford use the same lug pattern? Up to what size tire will work without problems on them? My truck currently has 7.5 X 16 tires on newer white steel rims, but my spare is very old on a split rim.

They used the same 8 X 6.5 lug pattern up until '98 or '99 - whenever they went to the new body style.

I think the Econoline used them for maybe a dozen years after the pickups went to the metric pattern.

Thanks for the replies. James, I remember reading your thread but could not seem to find it.
What do my current tires at 7.50 - 16 LT correspond to and would I be able to use some tires and wheels from an '81 F-250 that are 9.50-16.5 LT?

Thanks for the link and info. I was asking about the 9.50 x 16.5s because there is a set on craigslist I was thinking about getting. 5 tires and wheels, 1 nearly new and 3 with 60% + tread for $150. This would give me a good spare and a couple for the rear for a truck that doesn't get a lot of use.
