Something like the Pace-Edwards Switchblade or even a Jack Rabbit. I just hate the thought of having to uninstall and reinstall every time I take the dirt bikes to the track.
You should also look at Peragon, they are a 4 fold system but fold into the bed versus against the glass. Its another design to consider.

Snow, Ice issues on Roll Ups?

Since I am in the Northeast, Snow and Ice are issues for me. I had a roll up design on a previous truck. After a snow or ice storm, I always had a problem with the cover freezing up and could not get it to open after cleaning off the snow.

Even my current Bak4 cover required the fist pound up and down the edges to get it open on some bad winter days. Has something changed in the designs because I ended up HATING my roll up unit. (With our new storage building, the truck will not be out in snow, but it will on trips).

Will my current cover (2013 SD) fit the new truck

I forgot to ask. Will my current flip cover (2013 F350 CCSB) fit my new 2017 F350 CCSB?

Thanks. I haven't seen that design before.

That doesn't look like it would work well at all for me. I quite often put things in the bed, then unroll the cover to cover it up. I put firewood in the front of the bed when pulling the fiver, then cover it up when we get to camp to keep it dry.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a durable cover that does not sit on top of the bed rails? I do not want to loose any of the clearance under my 5th.

I have a Truxedo lo-pro (low profile) on mine. It sits inside and above the rails slightly, losing less than an inch of clearance.

NStorm, did you consider the larger American Work toolbox option from Truck Covers USA? I'm trying to decide between that and the JR as well. I will be using with 5th wheel and only have the 6.75' bed so concerned about clearance and loss of bed space. I really like the look, features, and storage in the larger box though. Thanks

I did, it's a nice box. The downside with the standard size is that the CHMSL camera won't be able to see the pin for my gooseneck...the box is too long. Other than that, it looks awesome.

FYI: Spoke with a retailer for the Bakflip MX4. They are only being Made-To-Order at this time, and are 10-14 days to your door from placing an order. After seeing many local F150's with the MX4, I'm going to give it a try. They look really sharp and the matte finish is a damn near perfect match to the factory bed rail covers. About 1/2 price of the Retrax too, so that doesn't hurt.

I sent them a note r.e. CHMSL camera visibility too. It's a nice lid.

Just got mine today got the rails on will work on the cover tomorrow and get pics, price was 899.00 to my door. So far really nice cover but a bit heavier then my last 5.5 foot f150 cover just like it.
