I placed my order within 4 days of orders opening so very early on. I ordered platinum white with Brunell interior(I think that is how it is spelled. Always have black so wanted a change inside).
Awesome, I went with Black with Brunello interior, I was teetering on the White Platinum too.

Black vehicles are always beautiful but my driveway although off a hard surface road is around 1/3 mile up to the house and horse barns--quiet place to live but even with 3/4 inch washed rock on driveway still a little dusty and black just a bugger to keep clean and in winter lots of snowblowing and always a bit of slush with same issue. So far the Platinum white seems not to show dirt very quickly and when you wash these beasts it is no small task.
Has anyone tried entering their VIN on the Ford site under their vehicles? I have my VIN my by dealer with a build date of 8/11 which may be why I am seeing odd details but my truck is coming back as a 2017 F350 when I ordered an F250 (confirmed by my paperwork). ETIS just shows it as a Super Duty without a model designation so I have asked my dealer to reach out to Ford to confirm.
Anyone else seeing the wrong model with their VIN?
Who is going to get the first truck of our forum group? fider.medrano?, DaVincidoc?
Can't wait for some real truck pics from the group. Anyone else with build dates in July?
My truck was built July 22. The other truck to my dealer was built July 19. Both scheduled to arrive on 8/8. My friend decided to buy the other dealer truck so we should have the first 2 in my area. Pics soon.
I've been checking this site (Use your VIN number to get Ford Window Sticker) for the last few weeks using my vin to see when the truck would actually be on the assembly line. I remember doing the same thing back in 2010 when I ordered the 2011. It was my understanding that the window sticker would only be generated if the vehicle was in the queue to be built or travelling down the assembly line. Today the entire window sticker is online and has yesterday's date in the bottom box. I ordered it May 4th and had a build date of July 25th. Platinum Ultimate F350 White Gold Fx4.
Can I just say that I'm getting REALLY tired of this waiting - I don't even have an order placed like a lot of you guys. I just want to eyeball these trucks on the dealer lots......I'm spending wayyyy too much time on this forum and the ford build site (which is down for the '17 SD I think).
Its really good I'm going to be on vacation from 3rd-15th and not goofing off on the forums. Hopefully by the time I'm back, mid August, these trucks will be rolling into dealer lots.
