By the way, I'm hoping next week I should have a chance to have those new wheels mounted. Finally! I've been busy lately and haven't had a chance to do anything with the truck, except burn up a lot of gas!
Alright I finally got around to tinkerin' with the truck again. I put the reflector strips in the mirrors yesterday. Today, my wife and I put the seat covers on. They were a pain in the arsenal!
I'm hoping later this week I'll be able to have the wheels mounted
I bet those covers are a pain in the butt to put on. They look great, I like that fit, not the baggy fittnig over the counter stuff.
And those reflectors look way better than that black plastic. Do you have them hooked up to the turn signals?
Unk Bob
For right now, the reflectors are stock. But they do look more upscale than the black plastic. To be honest, electrical wiring is not my strong point, so I'm kind of afraid to make any lighting alterations to it. I'd like to add more lights, but I don't want to screw anything up either!

I do understand that, and I also agree that the reflector does look better than that black plastic.
Eventually I'll make the reflector on my 2013 flash, with the turn signal. But the truck does have the turn signal in the mirror housing already, so it's just tying a set of LED's into existing wires.
I did that mod on my '12 when I first got it. It's called "mirror turn signal mod"
I think. Very easy to do. If you're afraid to do it, I'll sell you my stock mirrors!

Hmmm...Tempting...
Actually if I change mirrors at all I want the telescoping towing mirrors for the "Superduty" look. Then I can order those with as many lights in them as I want!
Thanks! The seat covers show the redneck side of me
I found a good deal on some nearly new Cooper Discoverer A/T-3 tires that I'm having mounted on those chrome wheels tomorrow. I'll post pics as soon as I can. Them Hankook's suck! They gotta go, before they get me killed! Lol
I agree with Russ. I can't wait to see the new (old) wheels on the truck too. I also like the reflector change and really like those seat covers. Jim your quickly changing the whole attitude of that truck. And I approve!
I have those same Cooper AT3's on my truck and love 'em. They're one inch taller than stock 275/70R18. I bet our snow patterns are different but out here the only thing that beats them in the winter is an all out snow tire. And the only thing tat beats them in the summer is an all out mud tire. Neither of those would be as good all year round as the AT3's.
Thanks for the thumbs up everyone. I'm waiting my turn at the tire shop now. It's hotter than blazes outside but just sitting on my tailgate enjoying a few minutes of rest in the sunshine!
