Just installed Weather Tec window deflectors that install inside the window track. My Lariat has the bounce-back window feature, where when either front window is closing it will stop, & bounce back if it detects an obstacle in the way. In the book on page 74 it says how to override this feature. Either I don't quite understand the instructions, or it isn't working the way it should. Has anyone been able to override, or disable this feature.

That didn't work for me on a 2014 F250. I left the windows up 3 or 4 days.
I wound up getting a credit from RealTruck (they told me to keep the in channel visors) and I got the old fashioned stick on type. I gave away the in channel visors.
My customer experience with them has always been good and I recommend them.

 

Thanks for the response, I try it. The Ford book didn't say anything about doing it with the door closed, or waiting 48hrs.

Well tried it, waited 48hrs., & it worked on one window, I'll try the other one again. The good news is that it worked on my side.
