I am putting the doors back together in the truck and when I roll down the window, near the bottom the window itself tilts toward the rear of the door. It does this on both sides. I don't see where I can make any adjustments to resolve this. Any ideas? Are the window cranks worn. I have all new weatherstripping installed in the tracks as well.
nothing seems to be jumping out of place. I was just in a yard the other day and rolled a window down to see if it was something wrong or if all windows did it, and that window was working the way I would expect it to. The glass was level when you stopped at the bottom. I have several other window cranks, it is just such a pain to have to take the wing vent loose in order to change them.
The window glass rides in a felt type channel. This in turn fits into metal channels inside the door frame. The rear lower metal channel has a habit of working loose, from the constant closing of the door.
The head of the bolt that holds this metal channel tight to the door is exposed on the door below the latch. On some models, there is an round painted access cover that pops off to expose the bolt head.
The division bar also has a bolt on the bottom, which also works loose.
Try tightening the bolts up.

All the window felts are new and just recently installed after paint. I know the part you are talking about, everything is tight.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
OK..you replaced the felt and the metal channels are tight to the door, and the window regulator is also tight.
How about the horizontal metal channel the window roller rides in, and the glass fits in? There are two pieces of glass tape, inner/outer that keeps the glass tight in the channel. Then there is that pesky window roller that the book says is only serviced with the regulator.
The book is wrong, the window roller is available as a separate part.
D6AZ-5323240-A roller, window channel.
Other than that, I'm stumped.
