Cab swap issues
Swapping cabs on a 2000 Ranger 4.0/5 spd/4X4. Donor is a 98 3.0/5 spd/2WD.
First question is are the underdash firewall heater box components and the ducts the same between A/C and non A/C models? I know the engine compartment box will have to be changed as well as the control assembly in the dash. Related question in the wiring harness, will the A/C circuits be present in both harness?I have the EVTM and I can trace it, just wanted to know if anyone has been down this road?
Next question is are the 4X4 transfer case wiring circuits present in the 2WD cab harness?
I may just swap the entire dash, but before I tear it apart, I was hoping to have at least something of a plan.
